Portuguese Hotel market
• This newsletter covers the Hotel market in Portugal with the focus on tracking supply and the main transactions.
• 46% of the accommodation supply in Hotels, 53,553 rooms, is classified as four stars from a total of 116,566 rooms.
• Since 2019 the total new accommodation is standard, averaging 2,500 rooms per year.
• According with HVS, the average value per room in Lisbon is 219,000 17 below Europe ´ s average, however, with a CAGR (12-22) of 4,0%.
• Prime hotel, The Fonte Cruz Lisboa Hotel, located in Avenida da Liberdade was sold last August for almost €600k per room setting a new high benchmark for the area.
• The 3M, 6M and 12M Euribor rates continued to grow to values close to the years pre crise and are expected to stabilized on the following months.
